New Crochet Project Started July 15th 2009

This is going to be for a couple Robert has known since he was a teenager--in December will be 50th Anniversary for them. Robert bought the yarn for me to make this and has had more than the usual interest in this project.

On My Banana Tree

I don't know if it will go ahead and make bananas -- still neat looking an had to get a picture to share. Look at that sky color!! So pretty and by this time of the evening the heat is not so bad.

Rain Forest Cafe Downtown Chicago, Illinois

We all had a great time at the Rain Forest Cafe!! It is an awesome experience to eat there for sure.

Train to Chicago

The train ride was neat as was a first for all four of us. The train passing on the track next to us was not that neat way too close--ok yea too close. Better than driving there for sure

Another glimpse of Chicago

This was at Millennium Park in the downtown Chicago area. This was just one of the neat things at the park. We sure had a great time looking at all the sights.
